...we answer God's call - to discover and make known - the love of the Heart of Jesus...

Our involvement as part of the Province JPIC group has led to some thought provoking and stimulating gatherings. Particularly memorable was a morning spent at Roehampton with Paul Chandler, the CEO of Traidcraft. This drew in about eighty people: members of the Province, and fair trade and Traidcraft supporters from quite a wide area. This was followed by an outstanding event organised by IRS in Dublin - John Dunne leading a day on " The Relationship between Contemplation and a Life of Justice, Peace, and Concern for Creation". We really appreciated this opportunity and also the very warm welcome of the Achill Road Community. We look forward to meeting John again when he comes to share this reflection with the Province next March. It will be a really "must not miss" occasion!

The link we make between Woldingham School, Mytchett Baptist Church and Rukungiri Vocational Project in Uganda has gone from strength to strength. It has escalated this summer, partly because Woldingham is in the process of changing its uniform and also because a member of Staff has done much to encourage the girls to donate redundant clothes - which would otherwise be abandoned! Other recipients who have benefited from this have been Refugee groups in Croydon and others supported by Boleyn Road Community, and a group in Woking helping to resettle the homeless.
