On Sunday January 19th twelve young RSCJ from eight countries made their professions of perpetual vows. We pray with and for them, especially the five who spent their "international experience" in this province: Irina (Russia), Jin Young (Korea), Jyoti and Poonam (India) and Pamela (Peru).

As per a Society tradition started by St Madeleine Sophie, each group is given a name and devise (motto) by the Superior General a few days before the profession ceremony. As far as possible both name and devise reflect the group's experience, process and insights, and give them a new call and identity - individually and together. This group's name is Sent to live God's tender mercy and merciful compassion and their devise is Let the Word dwell in you richly, as you help one another to grow in Christ, with gratitude in your hearts to God. (Col 3:16)
