...we answer God's call - to discover and make known - the love of the Heart of Jesus...

I moved to Oxford in 2008. Until September 2015 I was part of an RSCJ community based in a large house offering postgraduate students the opportunity to live as a multi-faith, multi-cultural community. For the last few years I was warden and administrator of the student hostel community; a joy and a lot of work all rolled into one. However, in September 2015 we closed down the hostel and began leasing the building to one of the Oxford colleges for their use.

I remained in Oxford, living in a small flat, and continued with the other ministries I already had. Having trained as a spiritual director and specifically in the Ignatian Exercises I offer accompaniment to various people here, and am a visiting director at Llannerchwen. Since moving to Oxford I have also been a volunteer in the university chaplaincy: I'm their safeguarding rep and co-convene a Samuel group, and also accompany some students during chaplaincy retreats and on an ongoing basis. I'm also immersed in a writing project for the Society.

I'm due to move back to London in the summer of 2017, and have been offered work with the Development Team of Caritas Westminster. To begin with, I'll be commuting from Oxford, as it's only an hour or so from where I'll be based. Previously, I worked for Citizens Advice for several years, and I've also worked in a homeless project, so there are certain justice issues about which I care deeply - to say nothing of the pain and ugliness currently in the world and in this country.

Finally... I'm part of some Provincial working groups, webweaver for this website and responsible for our social media presence and communications.

And when I'm not doing any of the above... I enjoy reading, photography, blogging, being with my friends here and maintaining contacts with friends throughout the world!
