The Eucharist, prayer and reflection are the backbone of our community life. 

We try to keep ourselves informed about the needs of the world and have been moved to prayer and action by recent disasters.

One of our main areas of hospitality and a real community ministry is in welcoming parishioners to coffee after Mass every week-day. On average 20 people come to Mass daily, rising to 30 + on some days. In all we probably meet 70 -80 parishioners during the year and many say that they come here because they know that they are welcome and that we pray for them, their families and their concerns.

Margaret

I am a member of the Inter-Faith Chaplaincy Team at London Heathrow Airport. I belong to the international network of airport chaplains. Whenever there is a disaster, anywhere in the world, it touches our lives - they affect many passengers and staff who need our support.

I am the Liaison Officer for the Digby Stuart Association. The DSA Committee meet twice a year – at the annual Reunion in May and the planning meeting in November.

Jane

I originally worked in primary education, becoming a headteacher. An increasing interest in inter-generational relationships within families, as well as the internal world of the child, led me to undertake a four year post-graduate training in child psychoanalysis. I then worked in this field, both with individual children and adolescents from the age of zero to 18, and with their families, and other professionals. Following eight years serving at the international level of the Society, I spent four years working as a consultant and facilitator with other congregations. In July 2013 I became the provincial superior of England/Wales.

Anne

I am a retired nurse, very happy to use my skills and experience in whatever ways I can. I especially enjoy being able to help out with various activities in our parish.
