News & Events

On Friday 28th June, in union with our sisters around the world, we celebrated the Feast of the Sacred Heart in our local communities and contexts. The following day, along with several of our co-workers, we gathered together in Roehampton, and continued the celebration, this time all together. We received reports from all our teams and committees, and, having reflectively looked back at the past six years, we thanked and blessed our outgoing Provincial Jane Maltby RSCJ and her Team. Looking forward, we then anointed and blessed our new Provincial, Cath Lloyd RSCJ and her Team.

The new Team, led by Cath, then anointed all those present, missioning us to continue making known God's love wherever we may be, however we can.

A delicious lunch was provided by Digby-Stuart College, and, after our Eucharist ended, the day was rounded off with strawberries, without which no Feast of the Sacred Heart could ever be complete!

Please pray for our new leadership, and for all of us, as we seek to be women of God's love and hope in today's world.
