I moved to Barat House Community after spending fifteen years in a small community in the Ladbroke Grove area. It has been a challenging experience to move from there to a university campus and to living with rscj and students in Barat House Community.

The challenge is proving to be a positive one. I am impressed by the commitment of the students to our shared times together and by their support of each other. It has always been my experience that I have learnt as much if not more from the children and young people with whom I have worked in schools and in less formal settings over the years than I have set out to teach. Living at such close quarters with the six young women in Barat Community is proving to be enriching and enlightening.

My other responsibilities in the Province are those of Canonical Treasurer and giving spiritual/ pastoral support to our older sisters in Duchesne House Community.
