Lent 2012 - springtime with God

The English word Lent comes from the Old English word Lencten, meaning spring. Lent is therefore our springtime with God, a time for new life and growth, for opening up and basking in the warmth and light of God. It is a time for joining nature in responding to the invitation to "look towards him and be radiant". (Ps 34.6)
