Oxford Community - Yukiko

My name is Yukiko. I just arrived here in this lovely city Oxford several days ago (17th April), and I am excited about everything that will happen from now on.

For the past three years just after taking first vows I have been working at our school in Sapporo (Japan) as a Hostel staff where almost seventy junior and high school students live. I really enjoyed being with them, and working with excellent teachers as well. In this photo I'm with my RSCJ community there.

Then this time, the Society has given me a precious opportunity to come to England. It is for not only studying English, but what is more important, to expand my view and to grow my sense of Cor Unum at a very real level. I really appreciate having this opportunity and would like to learn everything with an open heart and mind.
